I'm beginning to post the shots from a recent shoot with Ruby Slipper www.modelmayhem.com/2271300. A lot of firsts here: first time shooting with my new camera, first time shooting in RAW, first time shooting a model entirely on my own, and first time shooting location art nudes (all my previous stuff has been in a studio).
I was nervous as all get-out, being a newbie location shooter - a great deal of thanks to Ruby for being so patient (with me), and so cool in a public, if sparsely trafficked location. I was more nervous than Ruby was - she was not at all - but of course she's done this before. Still, I think it takes some nerve to take all your clothes off in the great outdoors.
Once again I have a lot to learn: about light in the outdoors, proper metering, and how to manage brand new software I've never used before. I am loving RAW, even though I've only scratched the surface.
